Uncontested races posted

ADAMS — With the election coming up on May 5, local voters will choose from among three candidates for the Board of Selectmen, but there also are candidates for several uncontested races.

Unless indicated, the candidates are incumbents. They are:

  • Anthony P. McBride, a one-year term as moderator.

  • Lynn D. Avery, a three-year term as assessor.

  • David M. Strzepek, a three-year term as library trustee.

  • Wilfred R. Bourdon III, a three-year term as park commissioner.

  • Martha J. Stohlmann, a five-year term on the Planning Board.

  • Daniel J. Maloney, a three-year term as a Northern Berkshire Regional School District Committee member.

  • Jill A. Pompi, running for her first three-year term as the Adams representative on the Adams-Cheshire Regional School Committee.

  • Lynn T. Clairmont, running for her first three-year term as the Cheshire representative to the Adams-Cheshire Regional School Committee.

  • Seeking re-election to their three-year terms as Town Meeting members are Jody A. Fijal, Sarah Kline, David Kolis, Patricia M. Kolis, Anne E. Kupiec, Neil Kupiec, James F. Nowak and Judith L. Taylor.
